Rogozin explained prospects of Russia’s presence on ISS

Roskosmos General Director, Dmitry Rogozin, announced the Echo Moskvy radio station, that the issue of continuing to participate in Russia in the project of the International Space Station (ISS) will be resolved in the next few months.

He also noted that there are currently three cosmic powers. In addition to Russia, they include the United States and China. At the same time, the head of Roskosmos stressed that the Russian Space Industry is an absolute leader in rocket and motor construction. Despite the sanctions, the United States is forced to buy Russian engines, Rogozin added.

previously became known that Rogozin will discuss the prospects for extending the ISS operation with the head of NASA Bill Nelson. According to the deputy head of the State Corporation on International Cooperation Sergey Savelyev, the meeting will be held in Dubai in October during the astronautical congress.
