According to the source, Reliance Jio was engaged in the production of the device, under the brand of which the new device will be released. The device will be named JIOPHONE NEXT and will be focused on a wide consumer. Previously, the representative of the company called the future gadget the cheapest smartphone in the world.
The exact characteristics of the phone are not reported, but the insider spoke about the main specifications of the smartphone and its price. JIOPHONE NEXT will have a plastic case and an IPS screen with HD + resolution. The device is based on the Qualcomm 215 Mobile Platinum budget processor, has an Android Go operating system. Also, the device will be released with Google’s branded applications, for example, Camera Go.
The device also knows that it will receive three gigabytes of RAM, a 13 megapixel main chamber and an 8-megapixel self-chamber. JIOPHONE NEXT will support working with two SIM cards in 4G Volte, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2.
The value of the device will be 3499 rupees, or about 3.5 thousand rubles. Indian announcement JIOPHONE NEXT will be held on September 10. On the plans to release the phone in the international market is not reported.
