“Havansky Syndrome” discovered two American diplomats in Germany

Two American diplomats in Germany appealed for medical help after they found the symptoms of an unknown illness called “Havansky Syndrome”, reports The Wall Street Journal.

According to the publication, officials in recent months have nausea, severe headaches, ears pain, fatigue, insomnia and lethargy. Because of the ailment, they turned out to be inoperable.

It is noted that this is the first case of “Havansky syndrome” from American diplomats, which occurred in NATO country.

At the end of April, it became known that the Americans investigate about 60 cases of an unknown illness among government employees in Miami. It also became known about similar incidents with American diplomats in Vienna.

For the first time about “Havansky Syndrome”, it became known in 2016, when employees of American diplomsses and their relatives in Cuba complained about such symptoms as loss of hearing, nausea, headaches and an equilibrium disorder.
