According to him, the prototype vaccine is ready, and the first industrial party will be released in 2022. “This compression of temporary indicators will in no way affect the quality or safety,” said Pinevich, speaking about the deadlines for the completion of the pilot industrial stage of the vaccine production.
The Minister said that the launch of a vaccine in civil circulation is preceded by several stages, and explained that the clinical tests of the drug will soon begin, and will also begin preparation for its production. He added that the vaccine will be made at the Biological Industry Enterprise “Belvitunipharma”, where a separate building will be built for these purposes.
Previously, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko pointed out that the development of a domestic vaccine is an important tool for victory over coronavirus. He added that the country will be able to receive from the export of his vaccine, which is still developed, hundreds of millions of dollars, which will significantly enrich the budget of the republic.
