Scientists have created a spray for nose from all main strains of COVID-19

Estonian scientists have created a spray for a nose that protects against all the main strains of COVID-19 – the original Wuhan version, the “delta” -variant of Indian origin, as well as from the British, South African and Brazilian options. It is reported by the portal Rus.Postimees.

Laboratory studies have confirmed that the developed nasal spray is equally well protecting against all coronavirus strains, according to the World Health Organization, which is most concerned, “said the scientific director of Icosagen engaged in genetic engineering, March Charter Jr.

According to him, the researchers team constantly monitors changes in the virus and test Bioblock spray on the ability to neutralize those strains that have not yet been widespread.

It is noted that from a legal point of view Bioblock is not a medicine or medical device, but spray and information about it were agreed with the Department of Medicines and the Department of Health.

Product technology is patented. Nasal spray Bioblock is produced and sold by Chemi-Pharm.

Earlier in June it was reported that Australian scientists will develop a vaccine from coronavirus in the form of a spray: they have already begun the first phase of clinical tests of the drug. We are talking about a preparation created using SARS-COV2 DNA: this is the development of the Australian company Technovalia in conjunction with partners from Bionet. The vaccine is introduced by a device without a needle, using an inkjet spray.
