In the early summer, Kudrin declared the end of the era of oil. In his opinion, he may occur in the next decade. “I think that the peak of oil consumption we will pass in this decade. We have already passed the peak of consumption of coal in the world. We will have to reduce our external income from oil, then within 20 years it will be a serious challenge.” He said and emphasized that investing money in the development of alternative energy sources is necessary now.
