Europe: intercepted a large batch of black cocaine

Spanish and Portuguese police intercepted a large batch of black cocaine disguised under charcoal. It is reported by the British newspaper The Guardian.

The criminals treated drugs in such a way as to get rid of the characteristic smell and make it necessary for dogs-dogs. Presumably, smugglers managed to import hundreds of kilograms of cocaine to Europe. The investigation began in 2020. Law enforcement officers alerted that one trading company used fake persons to import imports that did not meet the stated type of activity.

The police published a trail of a large Basque drug dealer, and through it – to the Portuguese port. There, the authorities discovered two containers with charcoal, but among almost 1,400 bags with coal turned out to be about 30 bags with cocaine. The authorities traced containers to the industrial complex in the Spanish city of Medina del Campo, where the attackers planned to clean the drug. After the arrival of the cargo, the police arranged a cloud, arrested three people and seized 862 kilograms of cocaine.

At the end of May it was reported that the British walked around the County Beach East Sussex and found the packets thrown ashore with cocaine. Passersby reported find to the local police. It is noted that almost a ton (960 kilograms) of the substance was packed in waterproof bags and is tied to rescue vents to stay afloat. According to the National Agency for Combating Crime, the cost of such a number of drug reaches 90 million pounds.
