US Defense Ministry refused to post Flags LGBT community at military bases

The US Defense Ministry refused to post the Rainbow Flags of the LGBT community on the current military bases. The official representative of Pentagon John Kirby was told about this CNN TV channel.

He noted that the military department will continue to adhere to the existing policy that excludes the emergence of informal flags on its facilities. At the same time, Kirby clarified that this solution “is in no way reflected in respect and admiration, which we experience our LGBTK + personnel in uniform and without it.”

TV channel indicated that the decision of the Pentagon did not coincide with the position of the State Department. Earlier, the head of the American foreign policy department of Anthony Blinken issued a general permission of the US diplomatic structures to rainbow flag on one flagpole with the American flag.

In January, US President Joseph Biden signed a decree that cancels the restrictions on the service in the US Army for Transgender. Barriers were installed by the previous administration. The White House admitted that gender identity should not become an obstacle to military service.
