The Minister of Education of Belarus Igor Karpenko announced the return of military-patriotic education head in all schools of the country, which will deal with the pre-examination of adolescents by analogy with Soviet practice. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
According to him, such teachers will begin to engage with high school students from September 1. The authorities have already created about two thousand bets in this area. Warwings, as the minister explained, will engage in the introduction of educational work in the educational process, and in the summer they will lead military-patriotic camps.
In turn, the Minister of Defense Countries Viktor Khrenin explained that these posts would be taken primarily by the personnel soldiers. They will teach according to the previously developed single program of patriotic education. “It is necessary that the youth recognize their duty to the Fatherland and did not think that the service in the army is a time loss,” said the head of department.
Earlier, the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, said that the youth was weakly understood in their history, and suggested more often to remind her of genocide during the Great Patriotic War. He argued that Belarusians forgot about the massacres and ethnic cleansing during the occupation times. The politician has also repeatedly accused of rehabilitation of the Nazism of Belarusian protesters.
