US President Joe Biden congratulated the new Prime Minister of Israel Naftali Bennett and dividing him with the power of Yair Lapid with his entry into office. He promised to develop cooperation with Israel, calling the United States to the best friend of Israel, RIA Novosti reports.
“My administration is fully committed to working with the new Israeli government to promote security, stability and peace for the Israelis, Palestinians and the entire population of the region,” said the American president’s written statement.
Earlier, on June 13, it became known that the Prime Minister was changed in Israel. The chair of the head of government took the head of the right party of Yamin Naftali Bennet. Knesset (Parliament) approved the new government of the country with a transcendence into one voice. 60 deputies voted for the new government, against – 59, one deputy abstained.
