More than 80% of South Space Center employees were vaccinated against COVID-19

In the South Space Center (branch of the center of exploitation of the objects of land-based space infrastructure on the Baikonur cosmodrome, it is part of the state corporation “Roscosmos”) more than 80% of employees vaccinated from COVID-19. Currently, the total number of clashed branch workers is about 4 thousand people.

Vaccination against coronavirus infection started on the Baikonur cosmodrome in January of this year. In total, the medical units of the FGBUZ TSSMC No. 1 FMBA of Russia of the city of Baikonur received about 16,500 doses of the GAM-Coke Vac vaccine (“Satellite V”).

Among the first participants in the joint settlements on the preparation and launch of the Soyuz-2 launch vehicles and Proton-M, as well as workers providing branch offices.
