12 percent of Russians spoke against unconditional base income, 38 percent found it difficult to answer. At the same time, men mostly support the idea of ​​paying (52 percent against 47). Age also plays a role, 37 percent and 54 percent were among the youth “for” – among Russians over the age of 45.

The highest support for the initiative was obtained in Rostov-on-Don (56 percent), Chelyabinsk and Volgograd (52 percent), the smallest – in Perm, Kazan and Nizhny Novgorod (from 40 to 44 percent). In Moscow, an idea approved 49 percent of respondents, each second – in St. Petersburg.

Earlier, the Ministry of Labor revealed the way to master a new profession free. According to the Office, more than 50 thousand Russians recorded the programs of retraining within the federal project “Promotion of Employment”.
