Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Ecology and Environmental Protection, Vladimir Burmatov, appreciated the ability to refuse non-natural fur in Russia. On this topic, he spoke on the radio station “says Moscow”.
The deputy believes that this process can pass in the country naturally, since at the moment the Russians have increasingly make a choice in favor of environmental materials and ethical consumption. “Look at how much the market is changing, it becomes popular clothes not only from artificial fur, but in general, environmental types of clothes. This is a large industry with a huge turnover, with your customers who are becoming more and more,” the parliamentarian said every year.
In addition, the burramites noted that the objects of clothing from artificial fur have become better and more durable. In his opinion, clothing from ethical materials is popularized in the media due to famous personalities.
It is known that today many foreign mass market and luxury brands abandoned the production of collections using natural fur. For example, in March 2018, this decision was made by the Italian fashion house Versace. It was joined by world companies such as Gucci, Prada, Burberry, Michael Kors and others.
