Celedysh Center took part in GLEX-2021

Keldysh Center (Roskosmos State Corporation) took part in the International Cosmic Space Conference of the GLEX-2021 (Global Space Exploration Conference), which for the first time passed in Russia. The event was organized by the state corporation Roscosmos together with the International Astronautical Federation with the assistance of the Tourism Development Committee of St. Petersburg.

Keldysh Center employees as part of the conference’s business program presented their reports. At the Space Transport Technical Session, Deputy General Director for Space Activities of the Keldysh Center, Alexander Semenkin, spoke about the development of space energy systems of various classes and destination spacecraft. They also considered the characteristic requirements for the parameters of power supply systems and electrical engineering motor installations of promising spacecraft.

In the same session, the head of the Electric Rocket Engine Department, Alexander Lovtsov, presented the concept of an accelerated creation of a unified transport module on the basis of EDD Holovsky-type km-10. This inter-bidded module will be able to operate on different voltage voltage and power modes. The module is created to effectively perform a wide range of intersorbital transportation tasks.
