In the framework of the working trip to the Samara region, the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev visited the Rocket and Space Center “Progress” (enters the state corporation “Roskosmos”) visited. The visit took place with the participation of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District of Igor Komarov and Governor of the Samara Region Dmitry Azarov.
Progress RCC General Director Dmitry Baranov held guests on the workshops, in which the “Soyuz-2” carrier missiles and the spacecraft of the Earth remote sensing and showed the production sites where work was deployed to prepare for the production of a promising missile “Soyuz-5”.
Guests were demonstrated to the manufactured parts of the new carrier missile, on which tests will be carried out during the implementation of this project.
