Czech Republic wanted to establish relations with Russia

Czech authorities wanted to establish relations with Moscow again. This was announced by Prime Minister Andrei Babish, his words reported RIA Novosti.

Politician noted that consultations will be organized in Prague on further relations with Russia. He stated that representatives of the Czech Foreign Ministry and all parliamentary parties participate in counseling meetings.

Babish also reminded that the Czech Republic is a sovereign country and will not tolerate foreign interventions into its internal policies. “It would be nice to talk about it within the framework of the entire parliament. And on the basis of this and jointly act,” he stressed.

May 27 it became known that the former Czech diplomat Stanislav Sui expressed the hope of normalizing relations between the Czech Republic and Russia and was hoping in this “Russian generosity”. According to him, the current disagreements of the countries are abnormally and somehow are resigned. Sui emphasized that the crisis in the relations of the two countries threatens economic damage, and it is worth stopping it.

The relations between Moscow and Prague complicated after the Czech Republic accused Russia in involvement in the explosions in the warehouse of ammunition in Vrbetice in 2014. Moscow denies the charges. As a result, 18 diplomats sent from the Czech Republic. Moscow, in response, declared 20 employees of the Czech embassy. Later it became known that Russia and the Czech Republic will equalize the number of employees in the embassies.

May 14, the Russian government included the Czech Republic on the list of unfriendly countries. It was added that the republic was allowed to hire no more than 19 employees of Russians to the Russian diploration. May 29, the Czech Republic left 54 ​​employees of the Russian Embassy with families. According to TASS, on May 31 another 60 Russians returned to their homeland.
