A farewell ceremony with Vladimir Alexandrovich Shatalov took place at the Federal Memorial Military Cemetery. Cosmonaut died on June 15, 2021 on the 94th year of life.

In the farewell ceremony, the head of the CPK Maxim Harlamov and his predecessor Pavel Vlasov, representatives of the cosmonauts of Roscosmos, veterans of cosmonautics, residents of the star town were attended. Together with the representatives of the CPC at the ceremony visited the head of the first government, the hero of Russia Valery Korzun. He recalls that she first saw Shatalov in 1970, being a cadet of the Kachinsky senior military aviation school of pilots. In the educational institution, which was graduated from many famous pilots and cosmonauts, Vladimir Alexandrovich came on returning from the space expedition.
