Dozens of police suffered after clashes with left radicals in Berlin. It is reported by RT.
Mass disorders led to the fire inspection check: she came to one of the Berlin nights, one of the most popular points of collecting squatters (illegally populating abandoned buildings – approx. “Lenta.ru”) in the city. The local edition of Berliner Zeitung notes that the area for several years was “occupied” by radicals.
The criminals threw the stones and bottles into the police, they also lit the firefish, which led to fires. More than 60 law enforcement officers were injured – according to some data, more than 200 squatters were attacked. Just one of them arrested.
“The current acts of violence are very clearly shown, why it is necessary to ensure an inspection to assess fire protection in the area with the participation of thousands of policemen,” said the representative of the Berlin Police in conversation with Berliner Zeitung.
RT reminds that the radicals knew about the fire inspection and promised to resist in advance. At the same time, the district authorities have anyway obliged them to pay a fine of 500 thousand euros.
