This decision is made to increase the motivation for vaccination in the population. In this regard, the police united with the district government and local medical centers to launch an incentive and educational program.
According to the Ministry of Health of Indonesia, less than 20 percent of people over 50 received the first dose of vaccine. Galich noted that before that, only 25 out of 200 people were ready to put vaccinations, but now the number of people willing reaches 250 people daily.
