American companies suffer from US sanctions more than Russian. This was stated by the head of the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia (AMCHAM) Alexis Rodzianko, RIA Novosti reports.
“They could conduct business in a larger volume, but due to restrictions can not. Therefore, the direct effect of sanctions is on the company American, indirect – to the Russian economy,” he shared. Rodzianko added that such measures limit the freedom of the actions of American companies and the business controlled by the US authorities and their activities.
Earlier in Russian President Vladimir Putin during a press conference after a meeting with a colleague Joe Biden in Geneva spoke about the likelihood of new sanctions from the United States. According to him, the steps towards new restrictions from the American side after the bilateral leader’s summit will mean a missed opportunity. At the same time, the Russian leader stressed that the United States suffered from sanctions no less than Russia.
Putin’s meeting and Biden went on June 16 in Geneva at Ville La Grunge. They communicated for three and a half hours.
