A third of Russians admitted to economies on food

Almost a third of the consumer behavior responded to the Center for Consumer Conditions (the survey is at the disposal of “Trent.ru”) of Russians admitted to savings on food.

About savings on food during the coronavirus pandemic told 32 percent of respondents. As the main reason, they called rise in prices. 59 percent noted that they began to spend more money on food.

Another 27 percent said that they were not followed by spending on food, but, most likely, during the coronavirus pandemic, they rose. Only 20 percent of respondents noted that they did not notice the changes. Seven percent in recent months spend on food less.

Among the specific products, which most often save respondents, alcoholic beverages were called (49 percent), sausages (47 percent) and delicacies (43 percent).

The least surveyed Russians are saved on fruit (12 percent), dairy products (11 percent) and vegetables (nine percent).
