The number of Russians who could not get the accumulative part of the pension put on the law approached two million. This is about this with reference to the country’s pension funds, Kommersant writes.
For 2020, almost 2.1 million clients of the 15 largest non-state pension funds (NPF) forgot to seek the payment, or they did not appoint it. Back in 2019, there were only 1.6 million such citizens.
Because of the participants in the list, citizens entered with the right to a lump sum payment. According to estimates of the publication, there were 200-400 thousand, therefore the number of funds who did not receive a storage retirement can be estimated at 1.7-1.9 million people.
As noted in the NPF “Future”, most of their customers who could not receive payments, has minor accumulations. Most often we are talking about 7-10 thousand rubles. According to the reporting of other funds, there are also sums in the range of 5.5-10.4 thousand.
Organizations themselves are blamed in the failure of the accumulation part of the pension poor informing. So, few citizens know that the increase in retirement age concerns only the insurance part of the payments, that is, the accumulation is appointed earlier.
Outdated databases also play their role. For example, changing the specified phone numbers and addresses. The head of the project Pensopathology Evgeny Baurabardis noted that the addressee of information messages reach only 15 percent of cases.
