During the military exercises, Northern EDGE 21, held in May in Alaska, the Armed Forces (Sun) of the United States worked for the deposit of massive rocket and aviation strikes on Russian territory, said the head of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia Admiral Igor Kostyukov. He also drew attention to the fact that in the Asia-Pacific region it takes annually to 85 military teachings of the US Army, which indicates the increasing intensity of the operational and combat training of the Armed Forces.
“American troops were worked out by an option of military operation against the Arctic state (Russia meant). Specific tasks were solved on the application of massive rocket and air strikes, the breakthrough of the area of restriction (reversion) of access, conducting offensive actions with landfill and air assaults,” – quotes Admiral informance.
Kostyuki stressed that the teachings of the Pentagon acquire “pronounced anti-Russian and anti-kilky character.”
Earlier, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu stated that NATO practices the routes of operational transformation of their troops to the borders of the Union State of Russia and Belarus. Shoigu noted that the European continent entrenched a military confrontation trend. He also noticed that military presence is increasing in the Arctic.
