In the company “Information satellite systems” named after academician M.F. Reshetnyova “(ISS, is part of the state corporation” Roscosmos “) a new section of the test was commissioned.
The new production site is organized in the assembly shop of the Cosmic Space Activities of the ISS company. The main workplace is the TBK-110 thermovakuum chamber, intended for degassing and thermal cycling at temperatures from minus 140 ºC to plus 150ºC, as well as testing for tightness of nodes and systems of spacecraft.
TBK-110 chamber is equipped with a vacuum-fasting system, a set of cryogenic screens, thermal stream simulators with a system that allows simultaneously to control and control 160 channels of thermometry and supply of electrical power. Internal dimensions of the chamber: 7.5 m x 4 m x 4.5 m, useful volume – 110 m³. A distinctive feature of TBK-110 is a rectangular form of construction that allows you to optimally use the internal volume of the chamber when testing cellular panels.
Entering new equipment to operation will allow you to most effectively distribute the load on production sites, ensure high quality and required timing of space technology tests.
