WHO was warned that the “Delta” strain considers more aggressive. It is noted that over the past week they infected more than 35 thousand inhabitants of Great Britain. Prior to that, the British strain “Alpha” was distributed in the country. The speed of infection was 60 percent lower than that of the Indian strain.

At the moment in the West there is an active vaccination of the population from coronavirus. At the same time, developing countries lack drugs. The most severe situation is observed in Africa, where the incidence rose by 40 percent per week. WHO CEO Tedros Gebresus compared the situation with COVID-19 in the African region with the spread of HIV and AIDS. According to him, the inhabitants of Africa are not available relevant methods of treatment.

On June 24, the head of the European Center for the Prevention and Control of Andrea Ammon (Andrea Ammon) predicts the Indian strain of coronavirus rapid distribution on all countries of Europe. The doctor noted that by August 2021, 90 percent of COVID-19 cases in European territory will have to “Delta” -varis virus.
