Representatives of the State Corporation Roscosmos and the Mexican Space Company SpaceJltz on June 30, 2021 held a working meeting on the prospects for cooperation. The meeting was held in the territory of the Glavkosmos (enters Roscosmos). From the side of the State Corporation, the First Deputy General Director for the Development of Orbital Grouping and Prospective Projects Yuri Urityr, from SpaceJltz – Co-Customer-Technical Director Hoel Contreras Lima.
The meeting discussed the possibilities and prospects of cooperation of SpaceJltz under the Russian subprogramme “Sphere”. The participation of the Mexican side in this project, taking into account the unique knowledge and skills accumulated by the Russian Space Industry, could allow Mexico and other Latin American countries in a short time to switch to a qualitatively new technological level in space communication, navigation and monitoring.
For its part, Spacejltz proposed to promote Roscosmos in promoting its products and services in the Latin American market, the mentality and specificity of which SpaceJLTZ is most clear. Following the meeting, the parties agreed to determine the further steps of interaction between the companies.
