Belarus and China declared mutual support in international arena

Head of the Presidential Administration of Belarus Igor Sergeyenko held a meeting with the Ambassador of China Be Xiaoyuin. This is reported by Telegram-channel Berta.

In the course of the conversation, both sides expressed their readiness to provide each other mutual support in solving international issues, in particular, in counteracting sanctions and other restrictive measures against sovereign states, as well as in the fight against coronavirus.

Sergeyenko separately thanked the ambassador for the leadership of the PRC in the protection of the sovereignty and independence of Belarus.

At the meeting, the parties also emphasized the noticeable strengthening of the humanitarian and trade and economic relations of the two countries.

June 21 became aware of the introduction of the fourth package of sanctions of the European Union (EU) against Belarus. The new list was 78 physical and eight legal entities. Lukashenko called the introduction of new restrictions by powerlessness of the West. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Foreign Ministry), Belarus stated that the EU seeks to undermine the independence of the country conducted by an independent policy.

Later, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China Zhao Lijiang stated that the Chinese side consistently opposes the use of one-sided sanctions in international relations and rejects the intervention of external forces into the internal affairs of Belarus.
