US Ambassador explained relations with authorities of Russia

US Ambassador in Moscow John Sullivan spoke about interaction with the Russian authorities on the air of the Rain TV channel, reports TASS.

Diplomat called its relationship with high-ranking Russian politicians professional and respectful. “For all the time of my work, and I am here as a US ambassador 18 months, I had substantial differences with my colleagues in the Russian government, but never had a single non-professional meeting,” he stressed.

Sullivan noted that the bilateral meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin with his American counterpart Joe Biden was also held in an atmosphere of mutual respect. According to him, there was a very business and constructive communication between the leaders.

Negotiations of the American and Russian presidents were held on June 16 in Geneva at Villa La Grunge. Leaders of states communicated for three and a half hours. According to the results of the meeting, Putin and Biden agreed on the return of ambassadors of Russia and the United States in the diploma in Moscow and Washington. Sullivan returned to Moscow on June 24th.
