Pole detained spying in favor of Russia 10 June

Poland’s internal security agency detained a citizen of the country on accuses to espionage in favor of Russia. This is reported by TASS.

According to the department, the suspect has activated its activities after his accomplice was arrested on the same charge. It is noted that the Pole allegedly performed the task of Russian special services for “establishing contact with Polish and foreign politicians, including those who work in the European Parliament.” According to Polish security services, a man worked not only in Poland and the European Union, but also in other countries of the world.

During the search, a large number of information carriers, as well as 300 thousand zł (about 84 thousand dollars), found during the search. In the event of an indictment, he faces up to 10 years in prison.
