Since the next year, Rosstat is going to launch the system for the use of control and cash technology data (CCT) to lead alternative to inflation with the prospect of changes in the main algorithm. About this in an interview with TASS told the head of the department Pavel Malkov.
According to him, first the calculations will be carried out in parallel, but independently. The data collected by the old algorithm with information about prices and tariffs will continue to publish on the site. With them will be told the results of the new method.
“As soon as we understand that they reached the point of comparability, we can use. But it will not be a complete transition to the CCT,” the official stressed. We are talking about the development of a methodology for applying new data. It is assumed to create a “special informational and analytical system with elements of artificial intelligence”.
Maslov noted that to disassemble the checks that the Federal Tax Service Provides (FTS) were launched last year in several regions. But the task turned out to be complex and non-standard, although the first results are encouraging.
The cause of alternative calculations The head of Rosstat called the desire to increase the number of data sources and be able to compare them in other cuts. Thus, the department will receive more opportunities for subsequent analysis.
Since the beginning of the year, inflation is accelerating in Russia. According to the results of May, for the first time in five years, the rise in prices exceeded 6 percent. At the same time, in the first week of June, inflation turned out to be higher than a week earlier. According to analysts, such a dynamic will force the Central Bank to go on a sharp increase in key bet.
Earlier, the President of the country Vladimir Putin during the speech at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum stated that he hoped to reduce inflation by the end of the year.
