Putin rated restoration of Russian economy

Russian President Vladimir Putin appreciated the course of restoring the country’s economy from the crisis provoked by the coronavirus pandemic. He said this during a meeting with the head of the Ministry of Industry, Denis Manturov, reports RIA Novosti.

“The economy is restored, the real sector of the economy is restored,” the head of state concluded. At the same time, he stressed that COVID-19 pandemic has not yet ended, and its consequences are not overcome.

Earlier, Putin said that the Russian economy comes out of a difficult situation. “Russia manages to overcome the difficulties that the whole world faced over the previous year. And our economy comes out of the difficult situation in which we all turned out,” he indicated.

Speaking of prospects, he recalled that last year the Russian economy showed resistance to external shocks, despite all the difficulties. “Russia’s GDP decreased less than the global economy, and at the end of the current year we will already go to the growth rates of about four percent,” Putin said.

Assistant President of Russia Maxim Oreshkin believes that the 2021 will be the year of recovery. He pointed out a medicine from rising prices in Russia, it may be high competition in the markets.

In turn, the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Andrei Belousov emphasized that the restoration of the Russian economy goes for two months faster forecasts.
