Control structure of the Bill Charitable Foundation and Melinda Gates will change after their divorce, writes The Wall Street Journal.

Former spouses, according to publications, discuss several different options, the main one among which provides for the creation of a new governing body – and the attraction of external directors.

At the moment, Bill and Melinda Gates are co-chairs and trustees of the Fund. In addition to them, the organization has several more trustees, among which the legendary investor, the founder of the company Berkshire Hathaway Warren Buffett.

According to former spouses, the changes will help preserve the sustainability of the Fund. At the same time, no specific decisions were taken.
