German pensioner bought a tank for his collection of weapons of the Nazi army. After discovering the purchase by law enforcement officers, he came under court, reports Deutsche Presse-Agentur (DPA).
Search in the house of an 84-year-old man in the city of Kiel in northern Germany lasted two days, 20 people were involved in it. In a cache with the technique of the Second World War, in addition to the tank, 40 tons weighing a torpedo, an anti-aircraft installation, mortar, several rifles and pistols, as well as more than a thousand rounds.
According to the collector, he bought a tank in England to subsequently pass it on scrap metal.
