F-15EX Eagle II Air Force (Air Force) Fighter (Air Force), which is considered an analogue of the Russian Su-57, will likely get a new “air-air” class missile “very large” range, reports The Drive.
The publication reminds that at present the largest rocket that F-15EX Eagle II can be transferred is an improved AIM-120 Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missile (Amraam), the modernization potential of which is almost exhausted.
The Drive writes that it was previously assumed that this fighter would only transfer the air-earth rockets, including hypersonic. The publication concludes that the equipment of the aircraft with the new weapon will allow him, in particular, to act directly on the border of the enemy zone of restriction and reversion and maneuver.
The Drive assumes that the new rocket for F-15EX Eagle II will be an American response to the relevant Russian and Chinese developments.
