On the Eastern Cosmodrome, the assembly of the headband of the Soyuz-2.1b space rocket was completed with the Frigate accelerated block and the OneWeb devices. In the assembly and test case, the coating of the fairing on the head unit and electrical tests were carried out. The cosmic headset is fully prepared for transportation of a carrier missile building.
In turn, the carrier passed a full cycle of tests on the technical complex and is currently ready for the overall assembly of space for space. The overall assembly is the final operation before exporting it to the starting complex.
This start will become the fourth fully commercial from the eastern cosmodrome. It is implemented by the European ArianeSpace launch service provider for OneWeb. Glavkosmos (a subsidiary of the state corporation “Roscosmos”) provides work on the launch of the OneWeb grouping satellites using Soyuz-2 carrier missiles under contracts with Arianespace and the Russian-French company “Starmest”.
