Russian authorities recognized that money on the program of gasification of the regions for 2021-2025 is not enough. Now in the government, the lack is assessed at 700-800 billion rubles. This was announced by the Deputy Chairman of the Government Alexander Novak, his words leads TASS.
According to Novak, the missing means can be covered by optimizing expenses. “We look at different options, including the optimization of expenses, and redistribution within the gasification program,” he said. In addition, money in the program can send Gazprom or regional budgets. Gazprom for the implementation of the Gasification Program for 2021-2024 reserved 526 billion rubles, added Vice Prime Minister.
Newak stressed that gasification in the regions will not lead to an increase in gas tariffs. “There will be no additional indexation of tariffs to implement this program,” he said.
In late April, Russian President Vladimir Putin, during the Message to the Federal Assembly, promised Russians free gasification of land plots. He instructed the Government to develop an appropriate plan.
According to Novak, the work will be fully fulfilled until 2023. The plan assumes the creation of a single operator, which will be responsible for conducting a highway from the gas pipeline to the site, as well as the development and introduction of uniform standards for building gas distribution networks.
In early May, Gazprom’s leadership has promised to hold a free gasification of private houses to 300 square meters in Russia. Their owners can count on the branch from the gas pipeline to the boundary of the land plot, provided that it is not further 200 meters from the gas distribution network.
