Ten American paratroopers received light injuries when disembarking in Estonia during SWIFT Response exercises. The affected servicemen were taken to the local hospital. This is reported by Interfax with reference to the postimees newspaper.
According to the press attache of the US Embassy in Estonia, the life of the victims of the paratroopers does not threaten anything, and most of them have already returned to the teachings. However, three soldiers are still restored after the leg injury.
“This is the usual part of air operations,” – summed up the press attache.
Earlier it was reported that more than 700 paratroopers from the United States landed in the country neighboring with Russia, Estonia, as part of SWIFT Response exercises. Two American generals took part in a parachute desant. US military servicemen conducted a training battle and, according to the script of the exercises, carried out the seizure of the airport, the military from Estonia was opposed.
