US will not be able to place their military bases in Uzbekistan, since this does not include the defense doctrine of the country. This was stated in the press service of the Uzbek Ministry of Defense, RIA Novosti reports.

In addition, the press service reported that Uzbekistan does not participate in principle in peacekeeping operations and military conflicts in other regions.
This statement of the Ministry of Defense of the country responded to the Wall Street Journal, in which the placement of troops derived from Afghanistan, in the countries of Central Asia – Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
At the same time, the American leadership has not yet appealed with official requests for the creation of military bases on the territory of these states. So far, the US Department of Defense weighs everything for and against. The State Department and the White House also take part in the decision.
