White House related kiberataku on pipeline in USA with Russia

Press Secretary of the White House Jen Psaka tied Russia with a hacker attack on the COLONIAL PIPELINE Pipeline operator. It is reported by RIA Novosti.

According to her, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) found that Keberatak took place from the Russian territory. The US President’s press secretary noted that Moscow should “act responsibly” in connection with this incident. At the same time, she stressed that the analysis of the occurrence has not yet been completed.

Earlier, US President Joe Biden stated the lack of evidence of Russia’s involvement in the hacker attack on the COLONIAL PIPELINE Pipeline operator. The head of the White House concluded that there are transnational criminal elements behind Kiberatka, and not a specific state.

On May 8, Colonial Pipeline company, which is the largest in the US operator of fuel pipelines, reported that it was attacked by a virus-extortionist. CNN argued that the kiberat was worth a grouping of Russian hackers and their Darkside community. The TV channel stressed that due to the kiberataka, the work of the pipeline providing fuel 45 percent of the US Eastern Coast population was suspended.
