Cosmonauts from ISS congratulated inhabitants of Earth with Victory Day

Cosmonauts from the International Space Station (ISS) congratulated the inhabitants of the Earth with Victory Day. Video with congratulations posted on its website “Roskosmos”.

From the board of the ISS Oleg Novitsky, Peter Dubrov and Mark Wanda Hai sent a festive greetings on the occasion of the Great Victory Day. Novitsky noted that the Russians will always remember the greatness of the feat of the soldiers and workers of the rear, as well as to honor the memory of millions of victims, the price of which people returned peace, the right to life and freedom. Dubrov, in turn, said that on May 9, 1945, it determined the development of all human civilization and became one of the main events of the last century.

American Astronaut Wante High stressed that the ISS is a brilliant historical example of international cooperation. According to him, astronauts are combined by a common goal, which is in a peaceful desire for discoveries and research for the benefit of all mankind. It is noted that the American uttered his part of congratulations in Russian.

Earlier, the general director of Roskosmos Dmitry Rogozin showed the unique frames of the origin of the vortices and the weather, filmed by the Russian satellite “Arctic-M”, launched in February. On one of the selected photos showed “the origin of the vortices and weather over the northern hemisphere.”
