Finnish intelligence announced Russia’s readiness to use troops in Europe

The report states that both Russia and NATO have deployed powerful and technologically advanced weapons systems in neighboring areas with Finland areas, and also improved the combat readiness and ability to project the strength of their armed forces.

Earlier, the Minister of Defense Sergey Shoigu stated that the Armed Forces of Russia should be prepared for the fact that NATO military teachings would go according to the “unfavorable development” scenario. According to him, the Russian military must be prepared for an operational response, since the situation in the DEFEnder Europe exercises may develop unpredictable. In this regard, the Minister gave an order to intently observe the actions of the North Atlantic Alliance.

In March, the former commander of the Ground Forces of Poland, General Waldemar Skshipchak described the possible scenario of hostilities in the Kaliningrad region with the participation of NATO troops. He pointed out that in the case of armed conflict in the region, the forces of the Baltic fleet and troops of the Kaliningrad defensive area will be played.
