Sber will open its own playing direction – Sterling. It will complement the entertainment industry of the ecosystem, reported in a press release received by the editor of the “Lental.ru” on Wednesday, April 28.
As noted, the management of the Sumpers will be used by the subsidiary of the Sberbank – the company Sterling. The head of the new direction will be Alisa Chumachenko, who previously held the post of vice president of marketing in Astrum Online Entertainment and is the founder of one of the leading companies on the development of mobile games in Europe Game Insight.
It is expected that the formation of the Siberian team will be engaged in 2021. In the same year, for a new direction, it is planned to create a producer center, publishing house, internal development studio and various near-car services. At the same time, they emphasized in a savage, all games and services that will be leaving under the brand sterling, the advantages of the combined ecosystem and cloud platform SberPlay will be available.
Also, specified in the press release, the Sber as part of the formation of the gaming direction signed non-binding conditions and is negotiating the acquisition of Gosu Data Lab, founded by Chumachenko. This company is engaged in the development of the Gosu Voice Assistant voice assistant for gamers and the Gosu Data Platform game analysis platform, which will be integrated into the new selection direction.
