Putin believed in overcoming difficulties around “Northern Flow-2”

Russian President Vladimir Putin believed in overcoming difficulties around the “Northern Flow-2”. He said about this at a meeting with French businessmen, transfers Interfax.

“This is a purely economic project that has nothing to do with the political conjuncture of today. There are many conversations related to the attempts of unfair competition,” said the president of the project.

Initially, the North Stream-2 should have been commissioned at the end of 2019. However, due to the limitations imposed by the United States, its participants began to leave the project. Terms of implementation were repeatedly transferred and at the moment are not accurately defined. At the end of April, the Russian ship “Academician Child” began to lay pipes in the waters of Denmark.

previously became known that the German authorities wanted to quickly complete and put into operation the Russian export gas pipeline “Northern Stream-2”. The FRG stressed that the country still needs reliable gas supplies from Russia.
