Russia presented the United States a note about changing the order of travel of diplomats in Russian territory. This was reported by the Foreign Ministry, RIA Novosti reports.

Gorman also reported on the new response measures of Moscow, which will be accepted in the near future. “The American side was informed that further decisions were expected in the near future in the development of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia of April 16, which the US Embassy will be notified in a timely manner,” the report says.

Russian-American relations worsened in March after the sharp statement by US President Joe Bayden to the Russian leader Vladimir Putin. In response, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia published a list of sanctions against the United States. Moscow will refuse 10 American diplomats, take measures to end the hiring of citizens of Russia and third countries to the Embassy or the US Consulate Protection and to ban American diplomats of the trip beyond the locations of their basing.
