As one of the agency’s interlocutors told, testing from the edgeship of Admiral Gorshkov was completed in November last year. From the moment the shooting from its board was no longer held. The next start should take place at the beginning of summer.
According to another source, the launch of missiles with Admiral Gorshkov is pre-scheduled for June. It will be the beginning of the state tests of the rocket complex on the surface carrier. “It is possible that a volley shooting will be performed with hypersonic missiles,” he shared.
In December 2020, the Russian Defense Ministry published on Youtube a roller with a launch of a hypersonic missile “Zirkon”, implemented from the edge of the “Admiral pots” of the project of 22350. The corresponding test start was conducted from the water area of the White Sea for the purpose at the Polygon of Chija in the Arkhangelsk region. The rocket developed the speed of eight Mach numbers and struck the coast target at a distance of 350 kilometers.
