Scientists warned against coffee use during pregnancy

Scientists from the National Institute for the Health of Children and Human Development named after UNIS Kennedy Sprayer warned against the use of coffee during pregnancy, as, according to research, it can lead to future child problems. With our conclusions, they shared on the Institute website.

In the course of the experiment, scientists investigated the data of more than two thousand women who were in the 8-13 week of pregnancy. One group was allowed to drink half a cup of coffee per day, the second did not use caffeine.

It turned out that children born in women from the first group were 66 grams easier than those who had refused drink.

As scientists stated, the smaller baby’s birthday at birth can undergo a child in adulthood to problems with obesity, heart disease and diabetes.

It is noted that even a minor consumption of caffeine during pregnancy can lead to delays in the intrauterine development of the fetus.

“At the moment, our results show that during pregnancy it would be reasonable to limit or abandon the drinks containing caffeine,” said Dr. Grantz (Dr. Grantz).

Earlier in March, Russian doctors explained the danger of vaccination from COVID-19 for pregnant women. The obstetrician-gynecologist Daria Ulanova explained that the vaccination could be dangerous, as it is not known how the drug will affect the reproductive function of the mother and the child itself.
