Dangerous strain of coronavirus with double mutation found in the UK. This is reported by TV channel Sky News.
It is noted that the new variety of the virus, which was first discovered in India, has already infected 77 inhabitants of the country: 73 – in England, and the other four – in Scotland.
At the same time, the South African strain of Coronavirus is distributed in Britain: they already infected 600 people.
The fact that in India a new strain of coronavirus with double mutation was known on March 24. So far, the Indian authorities have insufficiently information in order to establish a direct link between the emergence of mutations and the rapid growth of cases of the disease in some states of the country. Recently, India returned to the second place in the world by the number of ill cronavirus.
