State Department will expand list of prohibited countries

The State Department intends to expand the list of prohibited countries due to coronavirus. This is reported by TASS with reference to the US Foreign Ministry.

“Since travelers face risks caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the State Department will begin to update journey recommendations in order to better reflect the information of the Centers for the Control and Prevention of Diseases (CKPZ) of the United States on issues related to the health of travelers,” – noted in the State Department.

States plan to include in the list of countries where it is not recommended to ride, about 80 percent of states around the world.

In April, the first case of infection with a new strain of coronavirus with a double mutation was recorded, which was previously discovered in India. Specialists of the Stanford Laboratory of Clinical Virology confirmed that this version of the virus was found in the field of San Francisco Bay.
