Decision of one of longest wars in Middle East is proposed

Saudi Arabia offered a decision of one of the longest wars in the Middle East in Yemen. Reports about it Bloomberg.

The plan includes several points, the observance of which allegedly will help complete the conflict. In particular, along the existing delimitation lines between the parties to the conflict – the movement of “Ansar Allah” (Husites) and the central authorities – will declare a truce under tight observation of the UN, while US and Oman will be intermediaries. In addition, Er-Riyada guarantees salaries to all civil servants Yemen and offers to “fairly allocate budget money” received from the export of Yemen oil.

Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal Ben Forkhan Al Saud said that soon negotiations between the Husitis and official Yemen, who supported ER Riyadh, will resume. “The initiative will take effect as soon as the Husites agree with it,” he added. The truce plan was already supported by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and representatives of Kuwait. Husites themselves do not agree with all terms of the contract.

Yemen conflict is in the active phase since 2014. Rebels-Husitov, presumably support Iran and Hezbollah. Against them – the army of Yemen and the coalition of the Arab countries, headed by Saudi Arabia.
