Keldysh Center took part in Space Engine Conference (Space Propulsion Conference 2020 + 1)

On Friday, March 19, 2021, the 7th International Conference on Space Engines (7th Edition of Space Propulsion Conference 2021), organized by the Aeronautics Association and Astronautics of France, completed its work. The conference has passed in online format.

Deputy Head of the Department of the Research Center named after M.V. Keldysh (part of the state corporation “Roscosmos”) Alexander Solodukhin in his report spoke about current areas of development of electrical planet engines intended for use on board modern and promising spacecraft for various purposes.

It was demonstrated the possibility of creating engines with a closed drift of electrons with a high specific impulse capable of working on alternative working bodies in a wide range of operating parameters.
